Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club

Details and review of Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club. Glenmore is a par 72, 27 hole, golf course in Sydney's west. To get there take the M4 all the way to Mulgoa Road, from there it is only 2km down the road. Holes 1-18 are value for money good holes, with plenty of variety and plenty of trees, water and bunkers creating hazards. Holes 19-27 are really there for beginners or those who want a quick round of golf without having to strain themselves on the tough first 18. We found this course to be challenging and good value for money.

The first 18 holes cost considerably more than the last 9 holes to play on, and rightly so as the first 18 are much better golf holes than the last 9.

Review of Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club

Glenmore Heritage Valley Golf Club is located just west of Penrith on the outskirts of Sydney's west. The first thing to note, is if you don't live locally you don't want to be making the trip to play the original 9. The original 9 holes are decent for beginners and when compared to the links 18 just look very ordinary. The links 18 however contains some very, very fine golf holes. There is a lot of water on the course and very few holes are straight giving the course a lot of variety. The greens are fast, and the fairways are well maintained. The greens vary from medium to large size, with putting difficult if the wind gets up. In our opinion this course is definately one of the better golf courses in the Sydney region in its price range. However for most people, the time it takes to get to this course may not be worth the effort. Still in our opinon, well worth a visit.
