North Turramurra Golf CourseDetails and review of North Turramurra Golf Course. North Turramurra is at the northern end of Turramurra (down the far end of Bobbin Head Road) on Sydney's north shore and this course is a reasonable council golf course when we last played it (a few years ago). This course is quite flat and in reasonable condition. North Turramurra golf course is a par 64, 18 hole course of 4220 metres. When we played this course in the past we have found it generally rather boring... a few very similar straight par 4 holes and quite a few par 3 holes. In addition the course is quite short. Relatively low green fees present reasonable value for this area of Sydney. |

This course is located on the North Turramurra ridge in a leafy area of Sydney. Throughout the course is lined with reasonably large trees. The course begins with serveral quite boring (in our opinion) straight par 4 holes. These holes are somewhat difficult for a beginner golfer as a straight tee shot is important for these holes. This is followed by some par 3 holes and a mix of par 3 and 4 holes, mostly simple and straight. A few of the holes on North Turramurra golf course do hold some interest with unusual shapes and undulations. This course is quite reasonable for a casual round of golf, without being at all spectacular. If you are looking for an inexpensive golf course in this area, this course is well worth a try and maybe the odd revisit.
